Spend time being grateful from Thanksgiving till the New Year
Thanksgiving & The Christmas period is the perfect time to spend being grateful for all that we have. I don't even care that I'm not American, gratefulness should begin at Thanksgiving & continue all through the season, it simply makes sense to spend time with loved ones appreciating what we have. After all, who wouldn't want to express gratitude when we are so incredibly blessed?
I could spend this season posting countless blogs about how grateful I am for the billions of blessings in my life but instead, I am going to provide a couple of tips before dropping the mic to you to share your gratitude. Have a read and get participating.
Tips to keep the gratitude in your life
1. No act of kindness is insignificant. No one’s stature nor the size of their gift makes a gesture greater or smaller- its all the same.
2. Thanksgiving is a word that shows us how to live- gives and gave thanks for all that you have. Don't ask before you give.
3. When you're struggling to be grateful you're struggling to see perspective. Your pain is yours but so is your joy. Remember you experience life just as you want to. If you aren't experiencing giving you probably aren't giving. Look beyond yourself and see the BIG PICTURE...you have more blessings than you realize.
4. No one is unqualified to teach you GRATITUDE. Don't use it as an excuse to give thanks.
5. Be thankful for your heartaches, your pains, your lessons, they have given you a lot.
6. Celebrate the life and communicate gratitude often.
